. The popper is designed for effortlessly long casts, and can hold up to punishing fish. While this lure can be worked like a traditional popper, it can also be retrieved slowly,  causing it to swim very much like a metal-lipped swimmer.  The lure comes in three sink rates; floating, sinking, and fast sinking.  The floating version is best utilized in calm water conditions and the lure can be worked slowly and methodically.
